Itinerary: As in the 3-day or the 4-day Mt. Olympus ascent.
This Via Cordata ascent to Mytikas falls within the 3-day or the 4-day Mt. Olympus ascent itineraries / programs given and described in this website.
Whichever of the two itineraries you have followed, on the summit day, we hike to the base / staring point of the route to the summit where you gear up and where your guide /s introduce you to the basics of safety and use of equipment.
For most of its length (300m), the actual route is a high-level scramble and actual climbing of very low grade at certain sections. Equipped with harnesses and safety equipment and securely clipped into fixed rope on the rock, tackle a series of ‘Via Cordata rock pitches that are well suited to all of you, following a route that’s bolted securely into the cliff, having left behind the heavy psychological burden, as being well secured all the way up. Gradually, leave the path far behind as you climb towards the summit, up a spectacular rocky gully in a natural world of exceptional beauty and stunning views all around and bellow!
Usually we take short breaks along the way. Enjoy unique moments on top / end of the route before we take the return way back to the starting point.
